Quan was diagnosed with ALS in 2003 and other than the movement of his eyes, he’s completely paralyzed. Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks and the Graffiti Research Lab got in touch with the Not Impossible Foundation to bring together a group of open-source hackers to create Eye Writer. Now Quan has virtually returned to the streets to again tag walls, this time with a hi-power video projector.”
